My Wii Downloads

My Wii Downloads is one of the largest download sites available on Internet, and is solely devoted to Nintendo Wii, which is the most sought after game console in the market. Whether or not you own a Wii presently, this My Wii Downloads review might be interesting to you.

Complete list of Wii Games

This website is very easy to navigate, but at the same time has a really simple but attractive design. When you log in you will be able to choose from different categories, one of which is games. MyWiiDownloads has a very complete list of Wii games that are currently for sale and available for the console. We compared this list with the Nintendo ones and we didn’t find a single game missing. On top of this, you can have access to the game before anyone else, because they are usually available before their official release in game stores.

Fast download speed

One aspect of the site we were focusing on with this My Wii Downloads review was the speed of downloading, as Wii games could be as large as several GB. Thankfully the downloads run very fast, quite often more than the 200 Kb/s mark. Even the largest games can easily be downloaded in a few hours.

Download Wii Media like music and movies

Wii moviesDownload sections on movies and music are also available to its customers in addition to the games portion in Wii’s Media Center. All the sections can be used with the help of Wii’s Media Center. Even though these sections are not powerful as the games collection, they are really an excellent additional bonus to its customers. They can avail these downloads in a fast manner.

Wii Cheats included!

Next up, our review of My Wii Downloads looked at the section of cheats. This section was as robust as their section of games, with multiple cheats available for most of the games present. For numerous cheat lovers out there, this section will definitely prove to be a very useful resource.

Homebrew Section

Wii homebrewAnother exciting area of the website which distinguishes it from the various other download sites out there is their homebrew section. Here you can get various applications which can be downloaded and installed onto your Wii, giving it new capabilities. For example you can download additional games, media player, and best of all, a Super Nintendo emulator. For anyone who is a fan of classic gaming like us, being able to play Final Fantasy 6 or Super Mario World on your Wii should be worth the price of admission itself.

The homebrew section also features one of their greatest achievements, and the one we were most impressed with while conducting this My Wii Downloads review. The Wii Backup Loader is a program that can be downloaded onto your Wii, and which lets you play all of your backup games with ease, no expensive mod chip required. No other Wii download site offers this homebrew, as it was programmed in-house. It’s an impressive addition to what is already an outstanding service.

MyWiiDownloads, a No-Brainer for Wii lovers!

We came out from our My Wii Downloads review very much impressed. They offer really attractive service to their customers by adding games, movies, music line-ups daily. They also add on regular basis homebrew apps and bonus contents, so for Wii lovers this is really a no-brainer!

Losing The Point Completely With Wii Cheats

Nintendo Wii CheatsThe Wii video game console was created for people that were growing increasingly alienated by the complicated game play and instructions for the newer video games. Many video games had turned into movies where the player was only allowed to perform certain tasks and all of the imagination, creativity, and fun had been removed from video games. What hardcore video gamers and game console manufacturers saw as state of the art other people saw as huge steps backwards in the arena of game play and video game interactivity.

The Wii saw to solve those problems by bringing simplicity and game play back to the video game arena and it also wanted to bring a whole new level of interactivity to the video game world. Never before had people been asked to be so involved in their video game play and never before had people been forced to get off the couch to play their video games. It truly was a revolution and it truly was something brand new in the world of video games. But it was inevitable that this new revolution would soon get polluted by the hardcore gamers and soon some of the dirt that was clogging up the role playing game market started to ooze into the Wii market. It did not take long for Wii cheats to appear for everyone to use that wanted them.

Wii cheats are secret codes you can use to turn the game play to your advantage and get special help and boosts that the normal game player would not get. Wii cheats take a lot of the fun out of video gaming and people that create and use Wii cheats are folks that just miss the point of what it means to play a Wii. Playing a Wii is all about the interaction between player and game and to use Wii cheats to try and get an artificial advantage just to finish the game sooner is something that a role playing gamer would do. It ruins the game and takes a lot of the fun out of it for the player. If you use Wii cheats then you miss out on many of the things the Wii was designed to do and that is a waste of money.

Do You Really Need To Cheat At Bowling?

Wii games are designed for optimum player interaction and Wii cheats are designed to give someone an unfair advantage. It really makes no sense to get involved with Wii cheats because if you are using cheats then, in many cases, you do not need to use the game play options that the Wii offers. Remember that the Wii was designed to be the ultimate in game play interaction. Remove the interaction and you have nothing left.

Do yourself a favor and avoid Wii cheats. Play the games the way they were meant to be played and you will soon discover the whole point behind the Wii is to bring the fun back to video games. Cheating takes all the fun away.

Rabbids-Go-HomeFollowing releases of party mini-game insanity, it seems Ubisoft is now taking another approach. Rabbids Go Home follows the happenings after the Rabbids’ amazing wild party in Television Party, as the window’s curtains open and the Rabbids discover that there’s a complete world outside to discover. Moreover, after all the fun, their initial instinct is to go home. Where is home? Well, they don’t exactly understand, but their decided instict is the moon. This leads the game’s heroes to begin dragging around a grocery cart, tossing stuff within to collect for a tall pile that should eventually make a towerthat arrives at the moon. In theory.

So that’s Rabbids Go Home sense for you. Anyway, many of us will be pleased to grasp that not like past games in the series, Rabbids Go Home is not a party game. Rather, it is a linear adventure. A “comedy adventure”, as Ubisoft has advertised it, which is quite fitting thinking the gameplay itself is positively hysterical. To describe it, it’s essentially a pair of Rabbids running throughout each level on some form of vehicle. Most of the time it’s the grocery cart, but often certain bizarre incidents will show up, like when the Rabbids snap off an airplane turbine and end up steering it round the stage.

Regarding the controls, movement is handled with the nunchuk’s analog. The A command is held to maintain high speed and B is held to make a small but speedy dash forward. Fighting itself is nearly non-existent, and it is usually more about manipulating the level rigorously and defeating those that confront you. Another methodto keep folk back is by waggling the Wii remote, which makes the Rabbids in and on the cart to yell and flap in a slightly horrifying manner.

So, what is the big excitement around Rabbids Go Home? Well, nearly each part of the graphical presentation is aimed toward making the player laugh. People walk and run about some stages, and when Rabbids flail and yell near them they often jump so severely that their clothes come off, and it’s feasible for the Rabbids to then pick them up and add them in the cart. When the Rabbids go hurtling over ramps and slides their faces are secured in a weird smile, but during being pursued by a formidable enemy, such as a dog with giant teeth, their faces produce a sheer apprehension that you cannot help but giggle at. One stage is almost entirely based on a powerful competition with a cow. You get the sense.
